Pre-Flower Project Experiment

Finally have some more time to myself! :):) Just started my CNY holiday! In this holiday I will try my very best to backup the photography work in the past as well as shooting more photos. :):) I have been motivating myself to keep my photography work going on a regular basis...so from now on I will do a little monthly project for leisure purpose! I chose flowers, particularly Lily and Calla Lily as the subjects I will shoot for my first little project. However the flowers lately are quite expensive due to CNY, so I picked up some flowers fallen off the tree from the park nearby to do a little experiment before I really start working on Lilies~
I set up my little "studio corner" to shoot this flower yesterday, no professional tools to begin with...just my beloved camera and the very solid tripod. Got to be creative when we don't have much money to buy those equipments right? haha
What I've used is just a big piece of black cloth, and some clips LoL, I tried to use a crappy USB light and iPod touch to brighten it a little, but it turns out quite unnatural. Sun light is always the best friend of flowers.

There are quite a lot of improvements to be made next time such as relocation my little "studio", the clips and the supporting materials.

I don't really like to retouch photos unless it's really necessary, maybe I am just lazy :P:P

Thanks for reading and be well :):)

Love at first sight

Do you have the experience of love at first sight? Let me share a little secret with you: love at first sight happens to me every time I come across a cute doggie (well...every one of them are cute to me :p).
Yesterday I met Yummy, a 10-year-old female schnauzer. She is a very cheerful sweetheart when she goes for a walk, just like my dear LeLe when he was young :)
Why am I a crazy dog lover? They feel happy and satisfied easily, loyal and protective toward their keeper. 'If you give them your heart, they will give you theirs...' from 'Marley and me'. Isn't this kind of character appealing? Maybe we should learn from them in order to lead a happier life.
With the year of tiger coming, I wish everyone a happy and healthy year :):) Be well!

Water Lily By Chauses

Water Lily By Chauses,原由 Chauses 上載。
so I didn't update this blog for quite a while, and after reading an article from bubbi I realize I got to wake up too to realize my dreams. After these few days of busy work at school I am gonna to start all over again to plan and to set my goals for my dreams :) I am sure my passion for cooking, crochet, handcraft and photography will take me somewhere I enjoy in the future. I hope what I share here will attract some people who share the same values. Let's work hard to realize our goals together :)

From bubbi:
"You don't have to be rich to be successful. As long as you are happy, you will be mentally rich. You can be a bin man and be the best bin man there ever was. Where does your passion take you? I spent too many years listening to ppl telling me what to do and what not. I only intend to walk in Earth once so somebody tries to stop your tracks? Tell them no and don't listen. If your soul is really strong willed, you will find your own way to make things happen. If you believe in yourself, dont jus sit n wait. As my friend says, to make dreams come true; you gotta wake up. "

Thanks for inspiring me :)

It is a tradition to eat moon cake for Chinese, but recent years there has been many many new kinds of mooncakes coming out in the market, to attract more young customers, I like both traditional ones and new ones...especially "ice" moon cake, wanna make it myself for quite a few years and this year I decided to do it haha~~so here's how I do it, adopted recipes from various online forum and amended it a bit for less sugar and oil~

Ear Problem

Sigh, didn't update the blog for quite a while because my right ear was having some problem, I have a little hole on my right ear when I was born and it's now giving me trouble, only a surgery can fully cure it, well...I still consider myself as the lucky one because some people have this little hole on both ear...and some even have this little hole on their heart, all I need is some courage to overcome it.

Water Drop

I am like many of you and think that water drop is a very attractive area in photography, every one of them's different and there can be thousands and millions' combination.
Hong Kong is not like other countries that almost everyone have a garden, here we need to struggle for more space for our bathroom and kitchen :P:P it would be very nice if you can go around you garden and try to appreciate every grass and flower around and take a picture of them sometimes :):)

Tomato Toast

If you can find good and fresh tomato, this is a good recipe for you! You can totally enjoy the fresh and sweet taste of tomato! Tomato is very good for our health, many reports said that it's good for women's skin...ah huh so enjoy! :):)

Ingredients:
A few slices of bread (Baguettes will look better however I just finished that so I used whatever bread I can grab in the house :P:P)
Fresh Tomato
Some butter (Optional)
The kind of cheese you like
Some mixed herbs
Some Garlic Powder
Some salt
Directions:
Spread the butter on the bread and place the totmato, then the cheese and then the powder ingredients!
Put it in the oven at 180'c for about 8 mins or until the the bread is crunchy!

Gardening

Red and green are always good combination, don't you think so? It is said in an old chinese language that no matter how beautiful the flowers are, they need the green leaves to make them look better, I think it's quite true!

Banana Chocolate Cake

Cooking is another interest of mine, cooking is so fun and relaxing, you feel happy when the food is done (even happier if it's tasty :P). From the past few months I learnt that you can never rush in cooking, or else you'll enjoy nothing plus the food is very likely to taste bad :P I will try to share some recipes in the future cz these are my very old collections :):)
